
Join us for a practical, evidence-based workshop designed for people leaders, managers, and People and Culture representatives working in community sport. This session will provide proven strategies and tools to create a workplace that supports team members wellbeing.
Facilitated by Dr Kellie Lewis, a registered psychologist with 30 years of experience in mental health and workplace wellbeing, this interactive workshop will explore the science of workplace wellbeing and provide practical frameworks tailored to the unique challenges of community sport organisations.
Workshop Purpose & Outcomes
This workshop will help participants:
- Understand workplace wellbeing – What it is, why it matters, and how it impacts team performance, retention, and engagement.
- Identify key workplace stressors – Recognise the unique pressures in community sport and how they affect staff, volunteers, and athletes.
- Apply evidence-based strategies – Learn practical approaches to fostering a culture of wellbeing.
- Develop a structured workplace wellbeing plan – Each participant will receive a workplace wellbeing template and guidance on how to tailor it to their organisation.
- Walk away with a clear proceed-for-action plan – Participants will leave with a structured plan to implement wellbeing initiatives immediately in their workplace.
- Enhance leadership and communication – Learn how to effectively support and engage your team while embedding a strong culture of wellbeing.
