Keeping children safe in sport and recreation isn’t just best practice - it’s a legal and ethical responsibility. If you work or volunteer in the sport and recreation sector, understanding Working with Children (WWC) Checks is essential. These checks form a key part of National Principle 5 of the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations, which ensures that people working with children are suitable and supported to uphold child safety and wellbeing.
