Perth Cricket Club, WA Cricket and True Sport invite junior players and parents/guardians to join us for an important conversation about mental health, wellbeing and supporting each other in sport.
Sport is about more than performance on the field. It is also about connection, belonging and looking out for your teammates. This interactive workshop will provide young people and their families with practical skills to help create a supportive sporting environment where everyone feels comfortable reaching out for help when they need it.
Designed specifically for junior players aged 12+, this session explores how young people can look after their own mental health and wellbeing, recognise when a teammate may be struggling, and respond in a safe and supportive way.
Parents and guardians are also encouraged to attend, with dedicated information included to help adults understand how to respond when a young person reaches out for support.
