
After overwhelming requests for support surrounding this topic, we are excited to invite all members of the Mental Health Champions Network and their guests to the final workshop for the 2024 series!
The session will take you through:
- Types of stress and their symptoms
- Stress states (stress loading, stressors, protective factors)
- The effects of stress (neurobiology, performance, energy)
- Burnout as a chronic stress condition
- Optimal mental and physiological states for best performance
- Wellbeing management (boundaries, tools and warning signs)
- Wellbeing audit and wellbeing habits
Outcomes of the session include:
- Real-life case study activity and how to manage self and others
- Identifying stress and burnout
- Understanding the mental and physiological impacts of stress and burnout
- Practical management tools encouraging behavioural change relating to stress and burnout
A Mental Health Champion is the driver within their State Sporting Association (SSA) creating and promoting supportive mental health environments. The role provides support and direction on mental health and wellbeing matters as well as help drive positive culture.
Please note: As this event will address stress and burnout in the workplace, we strongly encourage all Mental Health Champions to bring along a colleague who will benefit from this workshop i.e. People and Culture personnel, Peer Support Officer, People Leaders etc.
