A Mental Health Champion is the driver within their State Sporting Association (SSA) creating and promoting supportive mental health environments. The role provides support and direction on mental health and wellbeing matters as well as help drive positive culture.
SportWest is proud to host the Tomorrow Woman & Man for our first Mental Health Champions Network session. This workshop will provide participants with strengthened resilience, self-confidence and collective empathy to enable deeper conversations to continue between friends, family, colleagues, and community members. Tailored for the TrueSport Mental Health Champions Network members, highly experienced facilitators with take the participants through a mixture of engaging activities and shared laughs to build more meaningful connections
