This is a great opportunity to bring a colleague along - whether they’re part of the network or not. Everyone is welcome! As always, light refreshments and nibbles will be provided.
What is a Mental Health Champion?
A Mental Health Champion is a key driver within their State Sporting Association (SSA), creating and promoting supportive mental health environments. They provide guidance on mental health and wellbeing matters and help foster a positive, inclusive culture.

Topic: Understanding How to Support Your Mental Health in Sport
Facilitator: Youth Focus
Youth Focus is a leading Western Australian organisation providing free, professional mental health services for young people aged 12–25. Established in 1994, Youth Focus delivers counselling, education programs, and community engagement initiatives to reduce symptoms associated with suicide, depression, anxiety, and self-harm, while building long-term mental wellbeing. Their mission is to help young people lead full and healthy lives by offering tailored support and promoting awareness across schools, workplaces, and communities.
