The purpose of this True Sport Cultural Education Initiative Resource Hub is to provide State Sporting Associations (SSAs), clubs, and sport leaders with a range of practical, WA-specific, and easy-to-use cultural education resources.
These resources have been developed to support organisations to build cultural awareness, understanding, and capability, and to create sporting environments that are culturally safe, respectful and inclusive for First Nations people.
Grounded in the Western Australian sporting landscape and developed in collaboration with Phil and Jade Narkle, the resources provide guidance to support organisations to embed culturally informed practices across governance, leadership, and day-to-day delivery, strengthen engagement with First Nations communities, and take meaningful steps toward reconciliation through sport.
