Back by popular demand after their insightful presentation on the True Sport Mental Health and Wellbeing Initiative in November, the True Sport team is set to close out the year with the final CITS Regional Coffee and Chat series session for 2024.
In partnership with the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries (DLGSC), this online event will focus on the True Sport Child Safeguarding Initiative and provide participants with a practical overview of the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations - helping sport administrators and volunteers understand, navigate, and begin implementing these essential standards.
What You’ll Learn
This 30-minute session will explore how sporting organisations can take meaningful steps toward creating safer environments for children in sport. The True Sport team will share tools, strategies, and insights to support clubs and state sporting bodies in embedding child-safe practices.
