The True Sport Project Officer is responsible for assisting with all development and implementation resources, education and delivery of the True Sport Program. The True Sport Program includes current initiatives such as Mental Health and Wellbeing, Child Safeguarding, Sideline Behaviour. This role will assist in the delivery of current and future initiatives for True Sport, as the program expands to the Western Australian sporting sector.
This position is a multi-faceted, project role which includes program delivery to the Western Australian sporting sector including but is not limited to:
- Education and training delivery to community groups, sporting organisations and stakeholders to build capacity, enhance knowledge, and promote best practices
- Assistance with program development, management, delivery and implementation of current and new initiatives
- Resource development and review/updates
- Workshop and webinar planning and event delivery
- Integrity & dispute resolution
- Digital communications, promotion
- Representation in internal and external advisory groups
- Stakeholder engagement and ability to support program delivery via presentations, webinars and workshop facilitation.
The True Sport Project Officer position is varied and requires someone who is able to manage multiple projects with autonomy and adapt to sector needs. The position reports to the True Sport Manager and will require a dedicated person with experience in project management, stakeholder development and understanding of project implementation within Sporting Organisations.

As this position is solely funded by a project grant from the State Government, the position is on a fixed term contract basis and will terminate on 30th June 2027. This term is in line with the grant agreement that is funding the position.
