Starick’s Respectful Relationships Sport and Recreation Program harnesses the power of sport and recreation to drive positive cultural change. In partnership with SportWest, Starick is engaging the Western Australian sporting community to help prevent gender-based and family and domestic violence.
Using an evidence-based, primary prevention approach, the program provides tailored resources and support for sport administrators, volunteers, members, players, and the broader community. Together, we aim to foster safe, respectful, and inclusive environments built on gender equality and non-violence.
Registrations are now open for the next intake of the program, which includes a workshop on Wednesday, 15 October 2025.
This interactive workshop will:
- Explore practical strategies to embed respect, equality, and safety across sport and recreation organisations
- Deepen participants’ understanding of the link between disrespect and family and domestic violence
- Support clubs to plan initiatives to create cultural change within their organisations.
If you have any questions, please contact the Starick team at rrsrp@starick.org.auor call (08) 9478 5300.
Registrations are required by no later than Wednesday, 1 October 2025.
