SportWest is proud to announce a new partnership with Club Respect to deliver the True Sport Sideline Behaviour Initiative, a program designed to promote respect, inclusion, and positive conduct across all levels of community sport in Western Australia.
This collaboration brings together SportWest’s True Sport framework and Club Respect’s expertise in building respectful sporting cultures. Together, we aim to tackle poor sideline behaviour and empower clubs with practical tools and resources to create safe, supportive environments for players, coaches, volunteers, and spectators.
What the Partnership Delivers
- Education and Resources: Access to Club Respect’s A.W.E.S.O.M.E Game Plan and educational resources for sport.
- True Sport’s Campaign Toolkit: Including posters, videos, and social media assets, which can be tailored to your specific sport.
- Workshops and Training: Practical sessions for clubs to embed respect and positive behaviour into their culture.
- Campaign Support: A statewide initiative encouraging clubs to take a stand against abuse and negativity on the sidelines.
