SportWest's True Sport team recently travelled to Western Australia’s South West region to deliver an engaging presentation to staff and employees of the Royal Life Saving Society WA (RLSSWA) at the annual LIWA Forum. The session focused on two critical topics: Child Safeguarding and Mental Health and Wellbeing in RLSSWA environments.
Hosted in Bunbury, the workshop featured interactive activities and sport-specific scenarios, equipping Lifeguards, Pool Managers, and regional RLSSWA staff with practical tools to apply in their day-to-day roles. The aim was to foster safer, more supportive environments for children and staff alike.
