SportWest was proud to partner with Sport Integrity Australia and the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries (DLGSC) to deliver a week of impactful integrity education and training sessions across Western Australia.
Over 100 participants from the sport and recreation sector took part in a series of events designed to strengthen integrity, safety, and governance in sport. The week featured:
- Safeguarding Workshop for WA hockey clubs, delivered in collaboration with Hockey WA and Hockey Australia
- Managing Integrity in Sport Course
- WA Integrity Network Forum
- Safeguarding Forum for the DLGSC Every Club Local Government Network
- True Sport Mental Health & Wellbeing Initiative Workshop
These sessions provided valuable insights into safeguarding practices, integrity frameworks, and the importance of education in maintaining safe and fair sporting environments.
