Supporting Mentally Healthy Sporting Communities | Building Workplace Wellbeing Workshop

Build capacity, confidence, and culture around mental health and wellbeing in sport

Join us for a half-day, interactive workshop designed to equip sport administrators with the knowledge, confidence, and practical tools to support mental health and wellbeing within their sporting communities.

Through real-life scenarios, group discussions, and expert guidance, participants will learn how to:

  • Embed the True Sport Mental Health & Wellbeing resources in their sport context.
  • Respond appropriately to mental health concerns and critical incidents.
  • Promote a culture of psychological safety and wellbeing.
  • Understand the boundaries and responsibilities of the Mental Health Champion role.

This session is facilitated by Dr Kellie Lewis, a registered psychologist from The Mental Health Project, and includes time for tailored Q&A to address challenges specific to your role.

Upon completion of this workshop and the True Sport Mental Health & Wellbeing eLearning course, participants will be eligible to join the True Sport Mental Health Champions Network, a growing community of sport leaders committed to fostering mentally healthy sporting environments.
